Please bring your ticket distributed at Registration Desk and come to the meeting point designated on the ticket on time.
 
Full Day Tour-1 on August 2 Fee: ¥7,500
Minimum number of participants
necessary for the tour: 30 persons
Full Day Tour-1 on August 2 is to go to north east side from Tokyo for the observation of offshore wind. At first, we drop to the offshore in Choshi, Chiba pref. to see Japanese first national demonstration plant 2.4MW turbine from the chartered ship, then go to Kasumi, Ibaraki pref. to see the offshore wind turbines constructed alongside the shore line, 8 sets of 2MW turbines. These turbines were no damage even suffering magnitude 9.0 earthquake and more than 5m tsunami on March 11, 2011 of East Japan tragedy. On the way of tour, friendship lunch is planned in fishery place.
   

Full Day Tour-2 on August 2 Fee: ¥7,500
Minimum number of participants
necessary for the tour: 30 persons
Full Day Tour-2 on August 2 is to go to south side from Tokyo to see the photovoltaic power generation plant and demonstration projects of smart city. At first, we stop to the 7MW PV plant, built by TEPCO, then, visit the adjacent site to see the most modern fired-power plant of TEPCO in Kawasaki.

Then, we move to Yokohama, where several smart technology systems have been demonstrated to minimize energy consumption with stable energy supply. Main collaboration is the distributed control system with innovative technology of battery, mobility, solar system, and architecture. We visit a few demonstrated places in Yokohama.



Half Day Tour-1 on July 31 Fee: ¥3,000
Minimum number of participants
necessary for the tour: 20 persons

Half Day Tour-1 on July 31 is to visit Senju campus of Tokyo Denki University(TDU). Tokyo Senju Campus was opened April 2012. The campus is fully open to public and encourages closer cooperation with the local community, designed as “Eco-Campus” with less energy consumption and less emission of carbon dioxide. We can see its design concept visually. The complex of 4 buildings is also fully equipped by latest seismic facilities as local disaster preparedness center. This campus is located in one of the busiest railway station in Tokyo.



Half Day Tour-2 on July 30 Fee: ¥3,000
Minimum number of participants
necessary for the tour: 20 persons
Half Day Tour-2 on July 30 is to visit Tokyo Sky Tree to see the thermal control system using ground-source heat pump, refrigerator, and 7000m3 water storage underground tank. This was constructed as energy conservation and control system for the associated building and “Soramachi Town” built simultaneously. The tallest tower in the world as telecom tower, 634m was completed in May, 2012. The building and town were also completed at the same time.
